When we rescued Tulip she was in a high kill shelter in CA one hour away from euthanasia.
Her vet notes said "tick ridden & flea infested" she barely had hair on her body. Her toes were pink and eyelashes were crusted to her hair that was growing straight into her eyes.
They didn't remove all the ticks she had ticks in her ears, and bonus for us... a hernia no one mentioned.
6dogrees Rescue took her to the vet right from transport for a exam and Capstar. On the way to Petco for a bath and sweater I told her life is going to be 1000% better.
I think her "after photos" show the result of that promise 🙂 Here she is playing with Vinnie - who was also a rescue dog.
6 dogrees Rescue thanks everyone who helps us help dogs like Tulip. We put every dime we have back into these dogs and then some. If you are looking for a new family member of the furry kind please adopt from a rescue or a shelter.
Dogs like Tulip (and her new best-friend Vinnie - also a rescue dog) depend on a second chance to save their lives!
